Terrorists strike in Kaduna State, killing an Islamic cleric and six farmers, and abducting 40 others | #NwokeukwuMascot

 News   File Image  At least six farmers, including the Vice-Chairman of the Jama’atul Izalatul Bid’ah Wa Iqamatus-Sunnah, Mallam Yakubu Muhammad Bugai, have been killed by terrorists, locally dubbed as bandits, in the Birnin-Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The chairman of Birnin-Gwari Emirate Progressives’ Union, Ishaq Usman Kasai, said in a statement issued on Saturday that the hoodlums also abducted 40 farmers. The Islamic cleric was shot on Wednesday at his farmland located around the Rema area. He was later evacuated and taken to Jibril Mai-Gwari General Hospital with gunshot wounds on his abdomen and arm.   News   Mazi Nnamdi Kanu  The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has declared an end to all Sit-At-Home exercise, including the Monday’s sit-at-home and any other proposed thereof being aimed to force the government to release him. Kanu made the declaration in a handwritten letter, which his special counsel, Aloy Ejimakor, read out to journalists during a world press conference, held in Enugu State on Friday. The Tribunal held that the Labour Party did not comply with the provisions of the electoral Act. However, Mr Donatus Mathew of the Labour Party had won the Kaura Federal Constituency seat in the Feb. 25 Presidential and National Assembly Elections in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
