Image
Governor Ikpeazu of Abia state, has advised the federal government to have a dialogue with the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. The governor told the Muhammadu Buhari led central government that it cannot win a battle of conscience through the court, Governor Ikpeazu who said he may not be Kanu's fan reiterated that his points about the alleged marginalisation of Igbo should be looked into. In his words,  “The federal government needs to sit down and discuss with Nnamdi Kanu and ask what can we do. We can stay at the table to listen to what he is saying.  "You can’t win a battle of conscience through the court. Do we need Nnamdi Kanu to tell us that there is no Igbo in the hierarchy of service chiefs in Nigeria?  "Do we need Nnamdi Kanu to tell us that Ndigbo is marginalized in Nigeria?  “Do we need Nnamdi Kanu to tell us that rice that was sold for N10k, now goes for N40k?"

JUST IN: IPOB urges South, Middle-Belt to reject National Grazing Bill.

Image
By Biodun Busari The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has raised an alarm over the alleged plan of the Federal Government to reintroduce National Grazing Bill at the National Assembly. The Mazi Nnamdi Kanu self determination group said it is another plot of the government to freely apportion pieces of land to Fulani herders in the South and Middle-Belt of Nigeria. It, then, called on the federal lawmakers from the southern and Middle-Belt to reject the proposed bill. IPOB said this in a statement by its spokesperson, Emma Powerful, on Sunday. The statement partly read: “The family and movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra is here again to raise alarm over the introduction of National Grazing Reserve Council Bill (NGRCB) to the National Assembly Chambers in Abuja. “The bill is another way of introducing the waterways bill to hand the Indigenous People’s lands to the fulanis in Nigeria. “The Government of Nigeria must know that IPOB will always decode their gimmicks from whatever...

JUST IN: Queen Elizabeth backed Nigeria during Biafran War – Buhari

Image
The  President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) on Saturday said the United Kingdom under the late Queen Elizabeth stood by Nigeria during torrid times. He said the UK during the Civil War between 1967 and 1970 supported the unity of Nigeria, adding that the Queen visited the country twice before her demise. The President spoke during a condolence visit to the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Catriona Laing, at her residence in Abuja on Saturday. He was represented by the Secretary to the Government to the Federation, Boss Mustapha. Buhari said, “We have maintained very close ties with the monarchy. She was a very gracious and elegant queen. For the purposes of remembrance, the fact is that 90 per cent of Nigerians do not know any monarch in the UK other than the queen. Image
The global family and movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the command and leadership of our indefatigable liberator Mazi Nnamdi Okwuchukwu KANU wish to announce to the general public especially Biafrans that Tuesday 13th of September has been declared a day of civil action in the form of Sit-At-Home in Biafra Land.  The Tuesday 13th September, 2022 civil action is very important for two reasons: First, Our Leader's Appeal court hearing that was supposed to be on October 11th has been brought forward to 13th September, 2022. As usual we call on Biafrans and lovers of freedom to demostrate our solidarity with our leader who is bearing our yoke in detention for over a year now.  IPOB never issued a new directives to Biafrans, but is simply implementing an existing order to lock down Biafra Land any day the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra will appear in court at Abuja.  It was based on such agreement with our leader that informed the suspension ...

Dr Akanu Ibiam’s letter to Queen Elizabeth II

Image
“YOUR MAJESTY,  the British officials in Nigeria are fully aware of all these. They know that we are injured and deeply grieved people and had been cruelly treated by our erstwhile fellow citizens of Federal Republic of Nigeria. The British officials not only knew the crux of the matter, but they also encouraged Northern Nigeria to carry out and execute their nefarious plan against us. They are angry with Biafra because Biafra categorically refused to remain as part of the Nigeria federation and political unit only to be trampled upon, discriminated against and hated, ruthlessly exploited and denied her rights and privileges, and slaughtered whenever it suited the whims and caprices of the favoured people of Northern Nigeria.  T o add insult to injury, Your Majesty’s Britannic Government, instead of being neutral in our quarrels or finding ways and means to mediate and bring peace to the two countries, has now taken it upon herself to supply military aid to Nigeria to help the...

They Removed History to Make You Daft | #NwokeukwuMascot

Image
The right of choice and conscience is a God given right, the removal of History from our curriculum made referendum sound like war to many, whereas it is not alien to the Nigerian soil. The Ambazonian people, the today’s southern Cameroonians where part of the eastern at a time. They had over thirteen elected representatives in the then Eastern Nigerian house of Assembly in Enugu. Subsequently, it was the #Referendum of 1961 that they voted to join Cameron and North Cameron agreed to be part of Nigeria. This is where the PDP and APC political propaganda of Atiku Abubarka coming from Cameron is anchored, in the right sense, referendum made the presidential of Pdp a Nigerian. More Details  to follow.

Women and children played a huge role during the Biafra/Nigeria war. Women trained to fight, cooked and took care of Biafran soldiers as well. Children also helped out in their own way. This was called “win-the-war effort”.

Same Modus In Attempt to Blackmail the Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s led IPOB by Elochukwu Nicholas Ohagi.

Image
Mr Elochukwu Ohagi, a philosopher, political analyst, writer, activist, teacher and journalist has analyzed the event playing out in a bid to blackmail the Indigenous people of Biafra, IPOB. He wrote:  “Those that kîlled the Army couple. Those that went to INEC office in Imo. “Those that went to somewhere in Anambra and robbed a bank, all used same template as those that went to Enugu and attacked Mr Peter Obi's campaign office. “ Today, those supporting Obi knew Politicians in the opposition did it. But previously, they joined hands with the politicians in the opposition to accuse IPOB. “ At least in those days they were actually together hoping that Obi can get PDP mandate. So they were ready to play dirty against IPOB.  “ They felt IPOB will be their greatest undoing. Some of them on twitter organised twitter spaces calling IPOB names. They asked international communities to designate IPOB a terrorist group. That's in something they truly know IPOB didn't do. “ Imagine a...
