Patience Ozokwo and other actors. Veteran actress, Patience Ozokwor aka Mama G has led a group of entertainers to endorse presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi. During a meeting tagged 40 Milion Ballots Movement in collaboration with Celebrities for Peter Obi (CEPO), the thespian announced her decision with some other entertainers to support Obi in the 2023 general election. In a viral video, while addressing the attendees, Mama G recounted how former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan contributed to the growth of movie industry by sending a number of movie practitioners outside the country to upgrade their crafts. Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has said that the Labour Party’s initial wave of momentum and spectacle doesn’t guarantee victory at the polls, adding that his party, the All Progressives Congress will soon commence its rallies and mobilisation nationwide. The governor, who is the South-East Chairman for the APC presidential campaign, said there are still many months for campaigns ahead of the 2023 general elections and there is nothing to worry about the delayed inauguration of the APC Presidential Campaign Council. Umahi spoke on Monday when he featured as a guest on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily programme. Aba Million March: ‘Obidient’ group Adopts Gov Ikpeazu.

The ‘Obidient’ group advocating for the election of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi, in Aba, Abia state has adopted Governor Okezie Ikpeazu as their candidate for the Abia South senatorial position in the 2023 election. The ‘’one Million March for ObiDatti”, which brought activities in Aba, to a stand still,  began from the Osisioma  Ngwa flyover from where the crowd marched through Aba-Owerri Road, Asa Road, Factory Road, Azikiwe Road and down to the Ogbor-Hill axis of the city. The group who stated this during the one million march held for Obi, Saturday, in Aba, explained that with the way things are currently going on in the country, it has decided to support candidates with vision like Obi and Ikpeazu, despite the party differences.
