Relief as Abia Lawmaker, Erondu Jnr, Kick-starts Free JAMB Registration for Indigent Students | #NwokeukwuMascot

Worried by the worsening economic hardship in Nigeria, the Chairman of the House Committee on Public Service, Abia State House of Assembly (ABHA), Hon. Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr, has launched a free JAMB/UTME registration initiative for indigent students in his constituency.




In a statement signed by his spokesperson, George Egejuru, and made available to newsmen, the lawmaker representing Obingwa-West State Constituency in ABHA lamented that many intelligent students in his constituency often miss opportunities to gain admission into higher institutions due to a lack of funds.




This, he said, prompted his decision to intervene by investing in their education and other human capital development programs.




The founder of the Igodo Igwe Foundation urged beneficiaries of his 2025 free JAMB registration program to take full advantage of the initiative to realize their academic aspirations in institutions of higher learning.





The Uhie-born legislator expressed gratitude to his constituents for their unwavering support and assured them that he would continue to utilize all available resources to attract democratic dividends to his people.




The Igodo Igwe Free JAMB/UTME Registration is an annual intervention program initiated by Hon. Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr to support indigent students in his constituency.




The 2025 edition is scheduled to take place at Osusu Amaukwa Primary School, Obingwa Local Government Area (LGA), Abia State.
