Nwabueze Success: A Prisoner of Conscience in the Reign of Tyranny | #NwokeukwuMascot

When Alex Otti’s regime abducted Nwabueze, it took over 24 hours to disclose his whereabouts—a revelation that, to this day, was never officially made by any security agency. Instead, Otti’s government resorted to framing him with frivolous charges to justify their actions.





We questioned how Nwabueze, who holds no position as commissioner of finance, permanent secretary, or accountant general, could have accessed pension funds. Otti’s administration retaliated with more baseless accusations of libel and cyberbullying.





Days later, a kangaroo court handed down a judgement to indefinitely incarcerate Nwabueze in a correctional center—this, amidst an ongoing judiciary strike. This ruling occurred without Nwabueze’s lawyer or public representation, exposing the regime’s brazen disregard for due process.




Indeed, Otti has outdone the tyranny of Emperor Napoleon.








As a protest against the unjust incarceration of Mr. Nwabueze Success, we hereby declare that Governor Alex Chioma Otti will be addressed as “Emperor Alex Chioma Otti,” and his administration as a “Regime” in all our communications going forward.





This symbolic protest underscores our rejection of tyranny and the gross trampling of citizens’ rights.
