Ngwa Rangers, a coalition advocating for the interests of the Old Aba Division, has commended the appointment of Chief Emeka Wogu, a former Minister of Labour and Productivity, as the Chairman of the South East Development Commission (SEDC).
In a press release signed by the Publicity Secretary of Ngwa Rangers, Mr. Kingsley Ihesiaba, the group expressed confidence in Chief Wogu’s extensive experience and remarkable profile, noting that his leadership would catalyze the much-anticipated development of Ala-Igbo.
The statement, titled “SEDC: Ngwa Rangers Congratulates Chief Emeka Wogu, Lauds President Tinubu,” praised the inclusion of Ngwa natives in the federal administration. It also urged President Tinubu to appoint more Ukwa-Ngwa individuals, highlighting their well-recognized leadership capabilities.
The statement reads in full, “The Ngwa Rangers and the entire people of Ngwa land are thrilled to congratulate our illustrious son, Chief Nwadiala Emeka Wogu on his nomination as Chairman of the Board of the South East Development Commission (SEDC).
