Hon. Enyinnaya Appolos Elected Abia South Zonal Vice Chairman of PDP | #NwokeukwuMascot

The Abia State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has elected Hon. Enyinnaya Appolos, former Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the immediate past Governor of Abia state, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, as the Zonal Vice Chairman for Abia South. His election marks a continuation of his longstanding service within the party and highlights his dedication to PDP’s mission in the region.




The announcement of his new role came shortly after the PDP State Congress, held in Umuahia, where party delegates gathered to elect new leaders. The congress saw Elder Abraham Amah elected as the State Chairman, while Hon. Appolos was elected unopposed as the Vice Chairman of Abia South.




Hon. Appolos confirming his election in a Facebook post, expressed gratitude for the unanimous support from delegates. “Abia State PDP State Congress held yesterday in Umuahia. Party delegates unanimously elected Elder Abraham Amah as the State Chairman of the party…while yours truly was elected unopposed as Vice Chairman, Abia South,” he wrote.




With this election, Hon. Appolos steps into a leadership position expected to bolster the party’s influence in the Abia South Senatorial District. As Vice Chairman, he will play a pivotal role in strengthening the PDP’s base, enhancing party operations, and supporting grassroots initiatives within the zone.




Hon. Enyinnaya Appolos, known for his strategic communication skills and political acumen, brings extensive experience to his new role, having served as CPS under Dr. Ikpeazu. His election signals a phase of renewed commitment and collaboration within the PDP, as the party looks to reclaim its foothold in Abia State.





The Abia South Senatorial District, which includes key cities such as Aba, is crucial for the PDP’s strategy in the state, and Hon.
