Senate confirms President Tinubu’s seven ministerial nominees | #NwokeukwuMascot

The Senate has confirmed seven ministerial nominees submitted by President Bola Tinubu for accelerated consideration, following a comprehensive screening process on Wednesday. These appointees are expected to fill strategic positions in Tinubu’s cabinet, bringing diverse expertise to the administration.




The confirmed nominees are:


1. Nentawe Yilwatda – A well-known figure from Plateau State, Yilwatda brings significant experience, particularly in the realm of public service and governance.

2. Muhammadu Maigari – Representing Zamfara State, Maigari is anticipated to enhance the federal government’s approach to addressing the unique challenges in the North West.

3. Bianca Ojukwu – A prominent name from Anambra State, Ojukwu’s diplomatic experience and connections in the South East are expected to be assets to the administration.

4. Jumoke Oduwole – Known for her expertise in economic reforms and policy, Oduwole from Lagos State is likely to drive initiatives focused on economic growth and ease of doing business.

5. Yusuf Abdullahi – Representing Taraba State, Abdullahi’s experience is expected to contribute to the administration’s efforts in Northern development.

6. Swaiba Said – Hailing from Kano State, Said brings with her a background that may support social and educational programs in the North.

7. Mukhtar Maiha – From Borno State, Maiha’s appointment is seen as a step towards strengthening security and rebuilding efforts in the North East.
