WAEC Announces 2024 WASSCE Results: Candidates Urged to Check Scores Online | #NwokeukwuMascot

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the results of the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination across Nigeria.





This was announced on Monday by the examination body via its X handle, urging all the candidates to visit their official website to check their results.




“The West African Examinations Council is pleased to inform Candidates who sat WASSCE for School Candidates, 2024 that the result has officially been released today, Monday, August 12, 2024,” WAEC announced. 




The examination was conducted in Nigeria between Tuesday, April 30, 2024 and Tuesday, June 25, 2024. 




WAEC has yet to release an official data regarding the performance of the students for the 2024 examination. 






The data for 2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examination for private candidates across Nigeria showed that of the total number of 80,904 candidates that sat the examination, 39,790 were males while 41,114 were females, representing 49.18% and 50.82%, respectively.





It said 46,267 candidates representing 57.19% obtained credit and above in a minimum of five (5) subjects (with or without English Language and/or Mathematics).
