…ABIA LGAs EARNED N52BN FROM FAAC ALLOCATION IN 11 MONTHS by Eke O Ako | #NwokeukwuMascot

Abia LGAs earned N52bn in 11 months from the Federal Government, yet the state government borrowed N45bn from Union Bank last year, using the LGAs, as we heard.
The state government earned N77bn during the same period from the Federal Government, yet it used contractors to borrow about N100bn for the roads it is doing.
Most of these funds are likely in someone's pocket, yet some of my friends in Canada, UK and USA are defending the oppression of our people, by promoting a government that is among the top 2 in the country for financial recklessness.
The LGA funds alone can pay for the streets being rehabilitated at Aba, which are the exclusive responsibilities of the LGAs.
The big question is what the STATE earnings are being used for, when most of the projects are being done using LGA revenues and contractor borrowings, which we are repaying?
Unfortunately, the so-called Mayors have no access to the LGA funds, they can't even ask for them.
We have a technically dead House of Assembly, which believes that it is an appendage of the Executive. The Members can't query their boss, Governor Alex C. Otti, who physically supervised the appointment of the leadership of the House.

The man that came to save Abia is the sole proprietor of these funds. The LGAs are his piggy bank. No LGA can grade roads, at least some have managed to repaint their offices.
His victims defend him, while he wrecks havoc on the state. Corruption is at an all time high, while his business empire is expanding.
Abia has been unlucky with leadership. It was the same during the last PDP government, when my brother E&$%¥u ^>r helped us manage the LGA funds.
The Supreme Court judgement is welcome.
I hope Alex C. Otti doesn't interpret the judgement differently, and say that they didn't mention his name in the judgement.
