Abia PDP Commends Dr. Ikpeazu’s Induction as Biochemistry Fellow | #NwokeukwuMascot
The Abia State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has lauded former Governor Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu for his recent induction as a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
In a press release signed by Hon. Elder Abraham Amah, the Abia PDP Vice Chairman and Acting State Publicity Secretary, the party extended its heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Ikpeazu for this notable achievement.
The State Chairman of the Abia PDP, Rt. Hon. Dr. Alwell Asiforo Okere, conveyed his congratulations on behalf of the State Working Committee (SWC), the enlarged State Executive Committee (SEC), and the entire Abia PDP. “We join your immediate family, the people of Abia State, Nigerians, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers worldwide in celebrating you on this great feat,” the statement read.
Dr. Okere commended Dr. Ikpeazu’s resilience, tenacity, and unwavering commitment to advancing the fields of biochemistry and molecular biology. “Your authorship of a book on this challenging subject while serving as governor is exemplary and inspirational,” he added.
The Abia PDP prayed for continued wisdom, courage, and energy for Dr. Ikpeazu as he pursues further contributions to the advancement of knowledge for the benefit of mankind.
Chief Okey Ahiwe Celebrates Dr. Ikpeazu’s Induction :
Chief Okey Ahiwe, the Abia State PDP 2023 governorship candidate, also extended his congratulations to Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu through a statement signed by his Media Adviser, Victor C. Nwokocha. Chief Ahiwe praised Dr. Ikpeazu’s ability to maintain his professional significance despite his political commitments.
“Dr. Ikpeazu has been a dedicated professional, teacher, and researcher who, even while serving as governor, found time to teach both in classrooms and remotely during the COVID-19 lockdown,” Chief Ahiwe stated. He highlighted that Dr. Ikpeazu obtained his Doctorate in Biochemical Pharmacology at the age of 30 in 1994, showcasing his enduring passion for knowledge and scientific inquiry.
Chief Ahiwe emphasized that Dr. Ikpeazu’s achievements have secured his place in history as a “philosopher-king” whose contributions are both profound and lasting. “His conferment with the prestigious NSBMB Fellowship further validates his status as an iconic professional and is, in my view, a call to service in higher dimensions,” he added.
Chief Ahiwe expressed confidence that Dr. Ikpeazu would continue to receive greater laurels and recognition in the future. He wished Dr. Ikpeazu more splendid achievements and God’s continued protection.
