In a tragic incident, a suicide bombing at a wedding venue in Tashan Mararaba, Gwoza town, Borno State, has left at least six people dead and many others injured.


The attack occurred when a young woman, believed to be in her early twenties, detonated an explosive device amidst the gathering, causing widespread chaos and destruction. The incident, confirmed by security analyst Zagazola Makama, has shocked the local community.


Emergency services responded swiftly, transporting the injured to hospitals in Gwoza. Medical personnel reported that at least six individuals lost their lives, while 15 others sustained injuries in the attack.


The victims, all civilians, were part of a wedding celebration near a bustling motor park when the bombing occurred. Authorities are working to identify the deceased and ensure proper medical care for the injured.


This attack highlights the ongoing security challenges in the region, as residents call for increased vigilance and security measures.
