President Bola Tinubu has appointed twelve people to serve in the Federal Civil Service Commission(FCSC).
This was disclosed in a statement released by President Tinubu’s spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale on Friday, explaining that the appointment is subject to the approval of the country’s upper legislative chamber, the Nigerian Senate.
According to the announcement, the new FCSC leadership will begin work on November 30, 2023, following the expiration of the existing Federal Civil Service Commission Chairman's and membership's tenure on November 29, 2023.
Ngelale went on to say that the President expects the new FCSC leadership to competently facilitate the transformation, reorientation, and digitization of the Federal Bureaucracy to enable, rather than stifle, growth and enhanced private sector participation in the development of the Nigerian economy, in full compliance with his administration's Renewed Hope Agenda.
